Thank you so much, Mom! I love you! I owe so much of who I am to you and Dad. Happy Fourth weekend. Thanks for setting a great example in all the moment between the defining ones!
Rebecca. Many thanks for your search into George Washington. I have been to Mt. Vernon and Valley Forge but many decades ago. I truly enjoyed your treatment of his more private life and what transpired during those times of solitude and reflection as the burden of his responsibilities of leadership came one after the other. Particularly touching is his relationship to his older brother Lawrence and the early death of his father. Grief had a work in him that is undeniable.
One thing I must enquire about since becoming aware of the presence of this face of evil in the land. In your research is there any evidence in Gen.Washington's life particularly during his political life/career extending into his Presidency, of his membership in the Freemasons? I have read accounts of the presence of this pernicious influence notably within Washington's life but in the lives of American leadership during this delicate generative time in our nations founding. Did you find any reason to see this, if true, as an early influence in the subtle beginnings of rebellion and even insurrection right at the nation's beginning? Freemasonry has infiltrated the highest levels of human government around the globe. If it had gotten a foothold so early on in this nations' origins then it remains today an evil force and is part of the moments between in the fabric of our Once Grand Republic. Your thoughts?
First off, I cannot thank you enough for plowing through this. It was laborious, but something the Lord put on me, and I felt I had to get it on paper. Thank you for taking time to read this, and for taking time to comment. In fact, I’m so glad you brought this up. I wrote an article on my research regarding this very topic of Freemasonry, the Founders, and the timelines of the history of freemasonry. I hope you’ll scroll down a few articles on my substack and read it. Please let me know your thoughts. I’d be honored.
Mr. John, I cannot thank you enough for digging through this article. Getting it out there was a labor of love and I had so many pages of yellow legal notepad notes. Ha! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking your time to read it and then to encourage me with your kind words. I am so thankful for them. God bless you.
Everyone deserves praise when they do good work. I can be snarky--check out snarkattack,substack.com--but that is not my style. Though I do argue about people, it's not direct. Truth & ideas are so much more important than putdowns. I like good, short, true history. I am reading through some sure enough 600 page histories right now. I prefer the brass tacks.
Beautiful thoughts shared for July4 250. Relevant for all of our lives♥️🇺🇸

Thanks Rebecca! This is a great & apt article. I have read several this week. Yours is the best of them all.
